Outstanding food and service! Lots of neat flavors and combinations going on. Peers were probably the best I’ve ever had, halibut was rich and delicious, Quaile with Pat today and lime was outstanding, and a great match with fat and acidity, and the skirt steak was very good though the cut wasn’t the same standard as their other courses. The wine list is above average, but lacking age and depth. Allowing outside bottles for $50 solves that problem.

I was lucky enough to score a reservation for my husband’s birthday to FSS (the cool way to say it) before they became the best restaurant in the US, per the James Beard Foundation. To say it was phenomenal would be an understatement! I don’t eat peas (texture), I don’t eat beets (taste), and I definitely would never order sweetbreads! I would go back just for the beet ravioli!! We may have to see if they do takeout, just so we could lick the plates clean without being judged!!! ? The staff there is top notch…we interacted with at least 6 different people/positions, and all of them took the time to chat and answer any questions we threw at them. We will definitely be returning!

Local Bar. Go before. 5 pm it's a mature crowd. Nothing fancy they give a good shot for your money . No snacks or food.

Finally made it to FSS! I was appreciative to enjoy it for my birthday celebration! Let’s begin with the Ambiance…The music playlist was BEYOND….Absolute Vibe…I was into it ALL NIGHT! Our waiter was attentive and provided great insight and feedback on each course! The food was NO DOUBT …next level and elevated! The courses ranged from 1-3 bites…just enough to get you wondering how the full course would be delightful! I didn’t select the wine pairing…but I feel it would further elevate the experience! Note: the meal is paid in advance…although pricey…seems to be reasonable in today’s marketplace of top notch restaurants!

This bar is known 2 serve large drinks for years(1 single here is like a double & a 1/2 EVERYWHERE else). It's a urban bar that needs a MAJOR OVERHAUL, its look the same since i was n my 20's over 20..Mona & Joy are vets & r great @ what they do....They have a kitchen that's not operational...The female bathroom is a nice size but smells of urine, the bar stools are ripped & sticky from the duct tape thats on them. They don't serve mixed fruity drinks, the dont have a large selection of wines..the only way out is the only way in besides the back door by the kitchen...place is super dated but is a great spot to get large drinks for a good price

The hidden gem of Philly. Best place I went on my trip! Paul the bartender and Daniella from the kitchen are the best. Delicious food, great music, and an unforgettable experience. After you are done, go down to the bar with Paul. Best drinks in town!!
