Honestly, the Foie Gras Sushi was out of this world (first time having Foie Gras) and I'd highly recommend. Not a single thing we ate was below the highest quality- I recommend this please without reservation!

I've had sushi at top tier restaurants in NYC, Los Angeles, Tokyo and Seoul. Dawa Sushi is as good and sometimes better than high end sushi restaurants in those cities. For those with discerning or wanting discerning flavors, I highly recommend.

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday dinner for the omakase, and it was the best meal we have ever had. The chef reached out in advance to check about allergies and accommodated my many food allergies, and still gave me the most unique and amazing courses. The chef and all staff were so friendly, giving us generous portions of every fish and making sure we had everything we needed! The omakase here has the most quality fish we have ever tasted, and the creativity and thought put into each course was truly so amazing. If you want to find a sushi spot with quality food that is worth every penny, this is absolutely the place.

My go-to sushi spot. The spicy tuna roll doesn’t have any “crunchies” filler, it is chunk tuna and soooo good. All rolls have the perfect fish to rice ratio.
Ramen was underwhelming at best and unfortunately the sushi the same. Would not recommend given all the incredible options nearby.

This is truly some of the most underrated sushi in the city. The fish is consistently incredibly fresh—honestly better than what I’ve had at several of the most expensive sushi spots around.
Their omakase is phenomenal and thoughtfully prepared, and the ramen is just as memorable, with a deeply flavorful, comforting broth that you can tell was made with care. On top of the food, the owners are genuinely kind and incredibly hardworking, which makes the experience even more special. If you’re looking for exceptional sushi without the hype or pretension, Dawa is a must-visit.
