Amazing food and great service! The flavors were authentic and everything was fresh and delicious. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Definitely one of the best Korean restaurants I’ve been to. I’ll be coming back for sure!

I had a great experience at Ddukbaegi. The owner and staff was very friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout the visit, which immediately made the atmosphere feel comfortable.
The food was excellent and tasted very authentic. Everything came out fresh and full of flavor, and you can tell there’s real care put into the preparation. Between the quality of the dishes and the kindness of the staff, the whole experience felt genuine and enjoyable.
I would definitely recommend stopping by if you’re looking for authentic Korean food and a place with great service.

Its a clean and welcoming establishment. Very understaffed since there were only two other tables with guests, possibly due to ICE within the area.

I visited this place after seeing it on Craig LaBan’s Instagram, and it was an absolute delight! We tried the Yukgaejang (spicy beef soup) and the Jokbal (braised pig's trotters), and both were phenomenal. As expected, a Craig LaBan recommendation never misses the mark. Every bite made me so happy—it was exactly the authentic Korean soul food I was craving. If you want a real taste of tradition, you must visit. Highly recommended!

Their food is great! I had their 설렁탕 and it immediately reminded me of the time when I had 설렁탕 back in Korea. I’m not sure when but the owner did change in my knowledge and they do not serve kimbab anymore - which it doesn’t even matter to me. so just letting you know they don’t have Kim bab now…
But!!! The food is great I had 물만두 and 돼지국밥 which was really hearty and delicious. Most importantly their side dishes are superior : especially their 깍두기. Thank you !! Cleared the bowl before taking the pictures

Portions are big and food was good. We had a large party and ordered a lot of different dishes and everything was good. Service was great. Someone was always there when we needed something.

Excellent menu with really legit and authentic items. Across our crew of six we ordered a ton, and everything was fresh and well executed. Broths were really nice. Waitstaff very attentive and warm. Major kudos for the generous amount of meat they put in the soups! That really stood out as a unique aspect of each meal.

If you’re looking for real Korean food in Philly, you’ve got to check this place out! Their Seolleongtang has such a deep, comforting flavor — it honestly blew me away. The owner was super friendly and explained all the dishes in detail. Hands down, my favorite K-food spot in Philadelphia!

1.5 hours: 0 food, waiter didn’t even put in our order
if I could give this place zero stars I would, we went in as a large group of 10 into an empty restaurant and got seated immediately. we quickly placed our orders with our waiter who went around the entire table taking our orders but skipping some of us. we had to call him back to make sure he actually got all of our orders.
10 minutes later he comes back and asks half of our table for our orders again. we tell him our orders again and he writes them down again. 20 minutes later one soondae guk and one seafood pancake arrives. but nothing else arrives
we wait for 20 more minutes but nothing arrived. a manager/owner comes over and asks why we haven’t ordered already and we told him we did but we haven’t gotten it. he apologizes, comps us mandus and checks on our waiter. our waiter comes and says it will come soon
10 more minutes pass, our waiter comes and says he just wants to double check our order. he retakes everyone’s order but at this point of time about an hour passed so we are getting a little tired of waiting.
we have a event at 6:30 so we had a hard cutoff at 6:15 so we call our waiter and ask him how much longer it is going to take. he comes back from the kitchens and says it’s 20 minutes more and he can’t do anything to rush it and it’s not his fault.
we tell him we understand but we have to leave so we will take any food they made already as takeout. as we are paying and leaving, the waiter says he actually never placed our order until the very last time because the kitchen was very busy( when we initially came in there was no one)
very disappointing to wait 1.5 hours, not get our orders place and leave with nothing.
the banchan was nice tho
