Hello! This is the first Google review I've ever left. This place is fantastic. My friend and I used to come here every Friday, and the food is delicious, especially the samosas, which are incredibly affordable on a student budget. Desi Chaat House is perfect if you're looking for comfort food; the samosas and chaat were the highlight of my day every Friday. The owner is very kind, and the atmosphere is delightfully cozy. There's a good amount of vegan options too. Thank you for everything!

Very poor food. I read the reviews and thought I would order something via UberEats. The food was very disappointing. I had never seen a drier chicken biryani. It was very dry with no hint of any spices. Even the chicken pieces were dry. Couldn’t eat. Chicken pieces topped with very dry yellow rice topped with onion slices doesn’t make a biryani. Do not recommend

It's a great place to get Indian chaats (snacks) with spicy, tangy and sweet flavors. The owner is very helpful, attentive and gives really good recommendations. Would definitely recommend!

very friendly guy. I went here 15 years ago and just recently and am still very happy with the food. The guy who works there is very sociable and nice and gave us some extra food to try including desert and it was just a very fun experience overall.
the chaat here has always been crunch and flavorful and made quickly and right in front of your eyes.

The best chaat in the east coast! We drove two hours to have the samosa chaat, sev dhahi bhala, veggie samosas and gulaab Jamun. The flavors of the chaat were excellent and all ingredients mixed to perfection. The owner Hina is fabulous and goes above and beyond to make sure we are helped. We also appreciate the variety of chaats. Thanks Chaat House!

I ordered a few items from the menu, and these are the ones I would strongly advise against ordering:
1. Pav Bhaji: Extremely sour
2. Pani Poori: All the pooris were broken
3. Dahi Bhala
I tried contacting the restaurant to inform them about the poorly delivered order, but the owner was rude and only acknowledged that it was delivered incorrectly, without addressing any of the issues about the food quality and the taste.
On a taste scale, this place is a solid 0/10.

I tried Chicken biryani. The biryani was very dry, and the rice had little to no flavor. It was not worth the price. I don't want to rate it. They should stick with their core offering of chat.
