Gus and Maria are such nice people. The food is amazing. I ordered a lunch special and it was fantastic.
Needed 6 pie’s for a party, they were fast and Za was good !!!
The owners are very friendly and the food is really good! You wouldn’t expect it just looking from the outside. The pizza dough is so yummy and love their hoagies too. Take your time and enjoy walking around west Philly when you order to give them enough time to prepare your food.

Royal Pizza is a charming, family-owned restaurant that offers delicious pizza and an amazing special sauce. The Stromboli is a standout, and the meat strombolis are also good. The owners' Old School sweetness and hominess create a welcoming atmosphere. They are known for their kindness and attentiveness, often going the extra mile for their customers. The veggie pie is a favorite, with a fluffy and dense crust, fresh vegetables, and a perfect balance of juiciness without being overly salty. The food is delicious and comes in really good portions. A small is enough for a normal person, and the large is HUGE! The Mega Fries are the best cheese fries in the city, and the cheese fries with whiz are a classic. The sausage used on the pizza was great, and the meat lovers pizza is flavorful and filling. While the cheese is not the highlight, the overall dining experience is highly enjoyable, making it a great option for a break from cooking. Note that the restaurant is wheelchair accessible with no steps. This is a go-to over all the other local shops.
