“The staff and patrons were all amazing! I felt the brotherly love Philly and the grease was on the bag before I opened it; so that was a good sign! I got the Chicken Cheesesteak my friend got the beef. Meat was seasoned and cut up nicely; however, the onions were laid on top of the meat in the hoagie and not chopped up with the meat. I think chopping them up together makes a more cohesive hoagie. Would also like to add bell peppers and not just hot peppers. The bread was also a little thick and made the hoagie harder to bite and more chewy. I toasted the bread later and that helped make it easier to chew. The bathroom was a tiny room, but Im glad they had one and it was fully stocked with toilet paper. Super cute establishment.“

“They have an intercom which is clear to let people know who have never been which window to go to and also tell people when their orders are ready. The pick up line could have been more smooth and fast paced. The food thought was delicious and full of meat. Would love to go back next time I’m in town.“

“I was never a big fan of cheesesteaks until I had one from Bobs! It was the absolute best. I tell everyone from out of town to go here over any other place they’ve heard about! I even travelled to Maryland with one for my dad and 4 hours later, it was still just as good!!!! My dad couldn’t stop talking about it. If you haven’t already I definitely recommend you go ahead and get a steak. You won’t regret it!“

I was in Philadelphia for my nephew’s graduation and wanted to try an authentic Philly cheesesteak. After asking around for the best spot, my niece recommended Ishkabibble’s, and we are so glad she did!

My wife, sister, nephew, and I traveled from Florida and Georgia hoping for a true Philly experience, and this place did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed and taken care of right away. The staff was friendly, patient, and took the time to explain all the different options on the menu.

One thing we really loved was being able to watch the sandwiches being made fresh right in front of us. The sandwiches were absolutely delicious. The bread was fresh and soft, and the steak, melted cheese, and peppers were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Even my wife, who rarely eats meat, wanted to try the experience. She ended up loving her sandwich and thanked us for encouraging her to try it!

If you’re looking for an authentic Philly cheesesteak experience, I highly recommend checking out this little spot. You won’t regret it!“

The cheesesteaks and chicken cheesesteaks were great! And...the fries...the best I've had in a long time...crispy and delicious! If you insist on DiLasandro's...waiting 45 minutes and then going somewhere to eat it...I understand. However, if you want to sit down...and have fries with ZERO wait for a table...(DiLasandro's only has bags of chips) go for it. But...to me...I'd give Chubby's a 4!!!“

Unlike a lot of other businesses around there. I got a Steak Philly w/cheese, a strawberry lemonade, and banana pudding. The Philly bun was amazingly soft and whole sandwich was delicious! Nice amount of meat just how I like 😁..Fresh Strawberry lemonade was perfect. And that banana pudding! My goodness. They use the Chessmen-like cookies which I love!! As I traveled here, I didn’t know what to expect because I don’t know of any good , cheap food spots in this exact area right off the Blvd. Ain’t the best part of Philadelphia but there is security cameras inside & the 2 staff members were nice . I ate half of the platter first & gave my stomach some time to decide if it agreed. The cheesesteak was hot & I asked for crispy fries & they were .
For the food you get , the prices are CHEAP. Like 2019 cheap. Leave a TIP the place is ?in the rough.“

“The best cheesesteak in the area for sure. Bread was soft the meat was perfectly cooked juicy as heck and not dry next time I’ll get extra cheese but it doesn’t need it! Barely needed ketchup. Perfectly fried crinkle cut fries (my fav). Also got the salmon cheesesteak egg roll and it was delicious I just wish it had a dip like some spicy ketchup or something but it was juicy and seasoned. Above all else the owners are black and super friendly ppl. Definitely will be back for more. Oh and it was about $16 for everything very affordable unlike these pizza places charging $15 for a dry ass cheesesteak with over cooked meat.“

“I live not too far from Larry's steaks o. 9th and Girard. Im a Phillycat born and raised and I've been across country and to Alaska. This is hands down one of the best steak places to go in philly! And there are a few little hood jaws, up in the cut but good a** food. No doubt stop in and grab something in day or late night they the spot. I usually order a classic cheese steak and fries, cheese burger and fries, or a steak stromboli. Which I got a small and felt Hella greedy cause it was so fargin big! I thought they gave me a large by mistake?! The prices are higher than the poppy store of course but well worth it. Check them out asap if your down to f up some good a** food ok lates people“

“We spent a very enjoyable Saturday night in Bar Code for a friend's birthday. The food was fantastic - be adventurous and try the tripe and chicken gizzards, they were delicious. “My Daughters and I went to Pazzo Pizza for the 1st time on Friday night. I love the fact that they are open till 1 AM- it’s very convenient for when you’re looking for food on the late night. The pizza was very good. It was about $20. We had a 1/2 cheese and 1/2 pazzo special. It was delish💯💯. We finished the whole box and I will definitely go back! 😋

“I would recommend this spot considering my experience with them was at PHL Airport. Sadly they fall prey to the up charge you only see at airports...no refills on drinks! I get it if you're a chain like Sbarro or Chipotle but I had hoped this was not the case for an apparent local spot. Also as a suggestion I'd toast the bread, keep it from getting soggy.“
