Steve's Prince of Steaks Reviews
Second experience at warrington location. Double meat wit with copper sharp. Place was packed so the wait for food was normal. Steak I think was overcooked then it normally is. But all in all it was a great cheesesteak!!! Always a fan!!! Just giving my honest 2 cents haha
We used the Steve’s food truck for the end of our wedding night and it was perfect! The guests loved it! The guys were great! 👍🏻 10/10 recommend!
On the recommendation of a Philly native, I went to a place called Steve’s Prince of Steaks in North Philly.
The moment I walked in I was hit with a intoxicating aroma. The setting was fairly unremarkable, with stainless steele walls and painted cement floor, along with a row of barstools and a small counter, perfect for late night and early morning bar closers or the lunch crowd from the Pepsi bottling plant across the street!

Steve's Prince of Steaks is known for its solid cheesesteak with soft bread, meaty steak, and good cheese. The area may seem sketchy, but the wait time is short, making it worth a stop. While the steak slices are kept whole instead of chopped, some may enjoy the bigger chew and flavor. The service is excellent, with helpful staff visible behind the counter. Customers often praise the mouth-watering, flavorful, and messy cheesesteaks, which are just as a Philly cheesesteak should be. The double meat double cheese Philly cheesesteak is highly recommended and considered one of the best in Philly. The restaurant is clean, busy, and always worth a visit, especially for those craving authentic cheesesteaks. Some note that the steak isn’t chopped in the sandwich, which they believe makes it better. Overall, Steve’s remains a popular spot for delicious cheesesteaks, with many visitors making it a point to go whenever they are nearby.
