I placed an order for the American Dream cheese board for a small party. The way it was packaged was perfect so nothing would shift in transport. They provided plates, napkins and utensils which was very nice to have. Everyone raved over the cheeseboard! It was the gathering area for everyone to pick at each option. Everyone had asked what cheeses were on the board because they loved every different selection and the presentation! I will be back soon to order another one. I highly recommend Di Bruno Bros.!

I placed an order and one of the items was out of stock. They sat on my order and didn’t reach out to me to let me know. Finally after a week, they shipped the remaining items without the item that was still out of stock. After many follow up calls to try and substitute the item, I was told there was nothing they could do. I asked if they would offer me a coupon for my troubles, they simply said no. Moving forward I’ll be giving my business to Hickory Farms.

My wedding was in two weeks (December 2023) and DiBruno Brothers Catering disappeared on me after months of planning and their commitment to us. We had submitted the final menu then responses from our contact ceased. Calls went unanswered.I am a former newspaper reporter and I know the power of my pen. I have never written a negative review in my life, and I gave the management multiple emails and visits to Chestnut Street before writing this. I don’t wish this experience on anyone and I’m sad that DiBruno dropped a very important ball here; my history with them goes back to my childhood and visiting the store in the Italian Market. I’m sorry to say this but pick another catering company. Save yourself from what happened to us.

customer service. they have no flexibility, don’t care about the customers at all. they give you information that you can not rely on. wouldn’t recommend just for the way you are

Always easy to get a quick quote/PO for drop off corporate catering. Timely and professional I've been using them for over a decade without issue-- highly recommend as a UPenn vendor

I wanted them to cater our wedding. I sent two requests via their website. I didn’t get a response. I called and no one answered so I left a voicemail. I did receive a call back and they left a voicemail saying we could call or email our request and they provided their email address. I emailed twice and didn’t get a response. I didn’t bother to call them again after this because I’ve been busy and they clearly aren’t interested in my business. It’s a shame because the food looks great. Too bad I will never taste it.

Wondering why businesses are allowed to delete unfavorable reviews. Kind of defeats the purpose. So if you see one star and nothing else, they deleted the remarks.

Delicious food, delivered on time, with courteous deliver folks.

Amending this review because when contacted about issues, they were responsive and willing to work with us. Great communication throughout.I have always loved their cheese shop but catering needs work. This is not “full service catering” but rather the equivalent of receiving a takeout order. Dishes arrive with zero presentation, cutlery, napkins, and not enough plates. There’s a do-it-yourself component to this that’s not ideal given the price.

Went with Di Buno for a work holiday party. Overall it was fine but there were a few issues which would cause me to not go with them again. The driver was 20 minutes late and had an attitude when he showed up about getting into the building. Once he was inside he was unpacking things so slowly a coworker and I decided to start doing it. I ended up telling him to just set up the sternos and leave because guests were showing up while he was still attempting to unpack things. After he did leave I realized he left us with no cutlery, no forks, no spoons, no knives. Just the serving utensils were left and that was it. Good thing we had some extras left over that we were able to use. The food was decent, nothing amazing. I would probably go with a local company next time and skip the chain.
