Went there for dinner with J. And V. after we visited the Sakura festival at Fairmount Park. None of us know much about western African cuisine. It's a super casual restaurant. The food is served in disposal plates and utensils. J. ordered fish suya bowl, I had the chicken and V. had Egusi soup and fufu. I tried a little of V. dish. Fufu is interesting - I liked it. I really like this place even though I didn't like the dish I ordered. The waitress recommended first timers to get the Suya bowl combo but I wanted to be adventurous and went for the egusi over fufu. I have had fufu before and really liked it but I've never had egusi. It was yummy but just way too spicy for my taste. I couldn't finish my food; all the while I was drooling over all the suya bowls my partner and my friends got. The three of us happened to have ordered different rice for our bases, allowing us to have a taste of all the different rice options offered by the restaurant.
