I found a NAIL on my rice, i usually do not complain if I have issues but if this rice was designed to a kid or if i even didn’t payed attention that could’ve been a headache. Unfortunately not buying in this place anymore, feeling very disappointed.

I buy aalu papri chat and gobi Manchurian from this place . It was too bad totally wastage of money. How you feel when you eat a chat without yogurt ???? and quantity of food is also very low and not gave any sauce . ?????? very disappointed ☹️

Dont buy fried rice here. They don't know how to make that. They only put too much salt nothing else???

We had a great experience at Ekta! It wasn't busy, so we got a table right away. Everything was very hot and fresh, and the service was pretty quick.

Really great service and atmosphere but the food was terrible. The curries I ordered were really sweet and the rice and momos were cold. They also say that they are halal but they have no halal certificate so that is a concern for those who keep halal

I have tried a bunch of different Indian spots around Philly and this one was decent, not the best. We ordered chicken tikka masala and lamb biryani, the tikka masala was good, but the biryani was nothing like what I have tried before at other places. It was good, but super salty and dense, unlike other biryani dishes I’ve tried where the rice is light and fluffy and absorbs the raita to a perfect ration, whereas this biryani almost seemed to create a pasty mess with the wet rice and sauce. I probably won’t go back here. Especially considering Indian food is not cheap.

Honestly speaking, never had a worse Indian meal. I was so looking forward to having Bhindi but it couldn’t have been cooked worse. It was flowy, raw, spices out of place and just really bad, I could even finish a spoonful of it. Next comes the kadhayi paneer, everything was raw, no cooking was done, the gravy was so full of just tomato and it all tasted like tomato and that was it. Naan was undercooked but we managed to finish that. It’s so sad to write this review but couldn’t help myself because I heard great things about the restaurant and it didn’t deliver for sure. If anything you can take away from this review, please never order Bhindi masala, that’s not how it’s made or eaten.
