We were welcomed with big smiles and kind staff! We enjoyed the chorizo burrito and mushroom quesadillas. For all who love mushrooms, El Molino seasoned and cooked them perfectly. The house-made corn tortillas were incredible for the quesadillas. We paired our meal with jamaica and horchata—very tasty and refreshing on a hot day!

I met Jose and Lala. I ate tacos campecheno(mixed steak and chorizo). I also had the homemade flan. Everything was delicious with all natural flavors. The tortillas were made with love and you could taste the freshness in everything I tried. I even ordered an extra tortilla at the end of my meal to sop up all the flavor off my plate. The green and red sauces tasted very fresh and natural. The red sauce had a touch of smoke to it but not overwhelming. The meats were very tender and the experience was MUY RICO! Gracias para todo Lala y Jose🇲🇽💕 Daniel

One of the best burritos we've had in Philly! The home made tortilla shells made a huge difference for the tacos, and I loved the fresh large pineapple chunks they used for the al pastor.

Small simple menu, the food tasted home made and it was very delicious! The staff was very nice and polite. Guacamole was fresh and tasty!.
This place was so good and it’s run by a really lovely couple. The tortillas are so fresh and delicious. I loved the nachos, churros, and tacos!!!! For tacos I got the birria, barbacoa and my personal favorite, the bbq pork.

Absolutely amazing fresh home made food. Birria is delicious. Great service. 10/10 recommend. Cannot get more fresh than this.
They're serving REAL, authentic, homemade Mexican food and tortillas -- this is truly hard to find in Philly! I was SO excited to find sopes on the menu, and they were perfect. The place is no frills but has plenty of room to sit, and the staff/owner/whoever it was who greeted, sat, and cooked for us could not have been nicer. 100% a gem and I'd travel south to get there.

The restaurant was closed. Please update your hours on Google.
Edit: Thank you for the quick response. Google had you listed as open when I arrived around 3pm. I will certainly try the restaurant another time and edit my review then. Bumped from 1 to 3 stars for your reply.

We got the steak burrito and carne asada tacos, both were great! The burrito even comes with a little guac without having to ask for it extra. The service was great, it seems like most people call ahead and order for takeout but they do have seeting.

Have been driving an hour from the suburbs monthly to eat here for almost 4 years. In my opinion, the best Mexican restaurant in Philadelphia run by a husband and wife that make you feel like you are eating in their home. Everything is made to order, including tortillas, guac, pico, and they have my all time favorite salsa verde in Mexico or the U.S. Everything is good but I recommend the pilbil, veg nachos, barbacoa, shrimp tacos and mushroom quesadillas.
