We made a reservation on a Monday for a quick dinner before a show at the Kimmel. We were greeted & seated promptly. Our waiter was there quickly & took our drink order. Yummy margaritas! Called to mention we'd be running late by about a half an hour at the latest. Understandable that they likely gave our table away but was told that was “fine” and “not a problem” on the phone so we assumed we'd be placed somewhere decent. We were given a broken table in the noisiest area in the front and would have appreciated a heads up if our reservation was forfeited. Also the website mentions specific options on the menu “can be made GF or vegan” but...
El Vez has an excellent Mexican Restaurant. The food service was very good. The restaurant was very knowledgeable about my fish and shellfish allergy and was able to accommodate serving me safe foods.
