The whole bean coffee is not just good it is the best, and the free drink you get when you buy the whole bean coffee is also killer. You can make the free drink as crazy as you want... they will walk you through the different characteristics and flavor profiles of the different beans... what is not to love. These guys are great

I visited this shop three times during my two-day trip to Philly and loved it each time. The coffee was so flavorful that I even grabbed some beans to take home.

The staff on the Tuesday morning shift is unhappy. The drinks are okay.

If you’re a matcha connoisseur, definitely do not go here. It’s like I was drinking straight up oat milk. The blueberry “tart” was also flavorless. I wouldn’t recommend the matcha if you’re thinking of trying it here.

Great place to work and decent espresso drinks. Decadent baked goods but no real food. Tasty strawberry matcha latte. Don't get their ceremonial matcha, it's nothing special.

I’m a regular at the main downtown location, but it was my first time visiting this branch. Unfortunately, the cortado was disappointing—the ratio was off, and it was basically the size and taste of a latte.

Outstanding third wave coffee shop nestled within a modern building so you can get a break from the cold in the street in winter. They also have delicious pastries, good pour over and other drinks such as matcha latte

Nice spot and friendly employees. Ordered a lavender latte. To me, it just tasted like milk with not even a hint of lavender or coffee. Waste of $6+ in my opinion.
Elixr is fine, but I don’t think it’s worth all the hype. The coffee was good, slightly better than average. I had a mocha with oat milk.
They don’t have an oven, so pastries like croissants are served cold. Seating is limited and those with table tops even more so. There was a small couch area near the entrance, but someone was sleeping across it when I visited. It made the whole section feel unusable and pushed everyone into the rest of the already-crowded space.
The place was quite busy at 11:45am in a Monday morning. Don’t expect to get a seat unless you show up early. The view isn’t great either. There are trash bins across the street and the café is tucked into a side alley, but one could say it has a sort of charm, and you forget about it immediately. Service was okay. Nothing bad, but nothing that stood out either.
I will add that the WiFi was solid. Didn’t have any issues with that.
Overall, the coffee was solid but not worth driving for unless you’re already in the area.
This place is really nice, I love their strawberry matcha 😍! Also, the only bad things about them is they closed on Sunday 🥲
Best coffee in Philly. Light roasts, single origins etc with developed flavours that are hard to find in the rest of the states.
great seating hangout spot too. check it out!
That squash spice latte slaps I would chose this fall flavor any day over the Torani shenanigans every other coffee shop in UCity is doing right now
