This place is like a little secret refuge tucked away on Sydenham St, right near the peak shopping areas of Walnut Street. It's a great place to rest and set down your bags, with fantastic single origin coffees, plus delicious lattes, tea and matcha. The ambience inside is extremely cozy, with very abundant seating and places to relax. That said, it isn't fully vegan and the vegan food options are fairly minimal, kind of expensive for what it is, and getting to the location...
The coffee here is excellent, and the staff is always friendly. One thing that makes me sad is their choice to serve all beverages in to-go cups, even for customers dining in. This creates a lot of unnecessary waste, and it’s disappointing to see cafés overlook their environmental impact when simple solutions like just using mugs are possible. It also affects the taste and experience. I hope they change that back to how it was in the past.
Definitely in my top 3 coffee shops in Philly. Great service, great barristas, perfe🥲,xxct coffee (they roast their own, and their beans are what I buy to make coffee at home). For their oat milk, they use the Oatly brand, which is hands down the best. Rotating art work by local artists is featured on one of the larger walls.
