Solid option if you need a pizza and a beer at the bar (not a separate pizzeria). Good crust, crisp edge, but soft in the middle, sauce was a bit acidic and the cheese quality was average. Cooked very well and had a good chew. Thickness similar to a New Haven style. Basil on the plain pie was a bonus.
The place isn’t the cleanest which bothered me I cleaned the table the best I could it’s a college bar hole in the wall kinda vibe. But the pizza fries and service were very good.
Decent pizza, great by Philly standards! Some are describing it as 'burnt' and not realizing that slightly charred crust is an intentional and fine delicacy that is a staple of pizza in places like New Haven. I recommend the spicy and getting takeout unless you're looking for a bar atmosphere.Limited toppings but good pie.
