Had such a great time here. The atmosphere was elegant but also comfortable. The entire staff was super friendly and attentive, and the drinks were absolutely amazing. A shoutout to my server, Jess—she was wonderful and really made it a great experience. It’s also in a perfect location near several popular theaters in Philly, making it a great spot for pre- or post-show drinks. Definitely a place I’d come back to and recommend!
Enswell is a lovely cafe that offered us a small but well stocked menu. The tuna confit shandwich was very good and showed me what I've been doing wrong when I make my own. My wife liked her prosciutto sandwich on a soft roll but the olives baked with garlic, herbs and more, while good, could have had a few more olives. Absolutely wonderful experience. We didn’t have a reservation, but Allison at the door (excuse if I am misspelling the name) double checked that there was space and sat us. The food was tasty and timely. We had the Benedict eggs, the French omelette, and a croissant for our little one. I also got coffee and a glass of rose.
