I love this neighborhood market because of the most convenient location and plenty of healthy options. But unfortunately I bought quite a few rotten/moldy items from them. Rotten fruits/veggies, a moldy cookie. Please be aware and check everything you get. And hopefully they will get better, especially with their prices.
Essene Market & Café is a beloved store in QV with great produce and a helpful staff. While some customers wish they accepted SNAP/EBT like other health food stores, the friendly and knowledgeable employees make it a go-to spot for snacks, vitamins, and natural skin care products. Perfect for picking up forgotten ingredients mid-cooking!
