This place has some of the best chili in center city. They serve it daily, no special days needed. They have old-school candy as well. A hole-in-the-wall gem. Almost forgot... they don't serve chili until 10:45 am.Wheelchair accessibility: Some steps lead down to where you get your food. However, I don't remember a ramp.

I always tells myself that if I dont go that often, that maybe the quality will improve and yet Im always wrong. I work above the business and in bad weather, its really the only place to go if you dont want to get wet in rain or snow. Here are my past experiences. The owner is a nasty person. Shes very rude if you question her on anything about her prices or food. 4 dollars for 6 strawberries is outrageous when there is a fruit truck on the corner selling huge bags of strawberries and other fruit for 2 dollars a bag. Ive gotten a ham egg and cheest on a biscuit for a little over 4 dollars and the egg was molded. I couldnt leave my job to go back down so I took a pic and went back the next day. She told me that sandwich didnt come from her store regardless that it was still in THEIR packaging. Their chicken pot pie soup tastes like chemicals. Ive gotten a chicken caesar salad with no chicken. Drinks in the refrigerator are out dated. I got a snapple that was from August of 2022 and didnt realize it until I took a drink and spit it right out. I looked at the label and saw the expiration date. The owner hates when you use credit cards and although I do understand why, some of us do not carry cash anymore especially with the homeless epidemic flooding that area. The only good thing about that place is the nice gentleman that works behind the counter. Hes always pleasant and eager to help.

Awful food that is overpriced. No ham in the ham and cheese sandwich and only a few pieces of sausage in the sausage and egg sandwich. Egg was like the bottom of the pan scrapping.

Owners need to not park their red van on the sidewalk, need clean up food they spill all over sidewalk. This restaurant needs to stay closed.

This is the second time I've been short changed. Got the salad and small soup combo and a drink. I was charged $12.00 and change. I tried to call and no one answered the phone.
