Their powdered fried dough is sold only on Saturdays and you better believe that they are sold insanely quick! I came at 10 ish and there were only two left. The dough consistency is perfect with the powdered sugar on top. I love supporting small businesses who are true to their roots and ingredients while staying affordable. The young lady working upfront is always there and a hard-working one! When you want to skip out on chemically made bread at the store, come check this place out!

Only tried the sesame Italian bread. At first, I was concerned the bread was moldy. The taste was unusual. I did not enjoy the sourness, especially combined with the smoky odor on top. It felt like an attack on the senses. I forced myself to finish the rest, but wouldn't recommend it. Otherwise, very nice texture: crispy on the outside, soft and doughy on the inside. I can see why people like it. Just not my cup of tea.

Best bread in the city, been a customer for years. So delicious I caught my boyfriend breaking off hunks and slathering it with butter at 3am.

Faragalli's Bakery is a must-visit for anyone who loves a hearty Italian bread! My family and I have been going there for over 50 years, and we've never been disappointed. Their Easter bread is a must-try. Their bread is excellent for dipping. Bernadette is always friendly and greets you with a smile. Highly recommend!!!

Amazing bread! The rounds are delicious and the pizza dough comes out perfect every time. This bakery has been a staple in the neighborhood and our family loves their bread. Kind owners too.

The tomato turnovers are delicious and unique! Rich and full of flavor but made without cheese. I bought them to serve with lentil soup for out of town guests and they were a great hit.

Everything tastes like cigarette smoke, which is what it smells like when you walk in. Disappointed.

Faragalli's bakery has the best Italian bread and pizza dough in Philly! It's delicious.
This is a wonderful neighborhood bakery. Everything they sell is so good!
I love Faragalli’s. Its a small Italian style bakery. The bread and the rolls are so good. Just went in and got 2 plain long loafs.
I love their bread and its come with a wonderful smile and great service. I wish I could've rate this bakery 6 stars instead..
Always a pleasure, especially when the bread is still warm
