Jul ’25: Great whole wheat loaf! The sesame seeds on the crust were a nice touch.

Went Apr 16 '25. Bought some of their active starter, a plain croissant (crispy, fluffy, spacey- good!), and drip coffee (tasty black). Friendly and helpful service! (selling Illinois based Happy Farms cream cheese- not Philadelphia brand, and no Snavely whole wheat flour available)

Amazing GEM in West Philly that can easily be overlooked! But step inside this community bakery for the finest top notch pastries (pure decadence) and all baked goods are sourdough swoon worthy. Catch end of day happy hour where pastries and bagels are BOGO and loaves are $1 off! You will be delighted with what this little bakery has to offer your senses!

We have been here twice and tried a number of items. Our first visit was 4 out of 5. Quite good, especially the lemon curd, but the almond croissant was a tad underfilled and overbaked. This time is a clear 5 out of 5. Get the pistachio cream! The texture of all of the pastry is phenomenal even hours after baking, the pistachio filling is not too sweet and is well incorporated, and by virtue of the cream being on top you can easily take a little off if that's your speed. You seriously can't beat the deal, 4 dollars for a huge dessert. They sell out of the good stuff fast so show up early!

I've been working in the neighborhood for about a year now and have been ordering from here a couple times a month. They've never let me down.

I'm particularly fond of the bagels, sourdough loaves, and baguettes, but when I've splurged on the sweets they've been great too.

Normally I order via Four World Bakeries’ home delivery, but I decided to visit in person—and I was thoroughly impressed! The bakery boasts an inviting vibe, and the coffee beans are absolutely top-notch. Their bread is incredibly fresh, and the granola is downright addictive. Plus, don’t miss their happy hour (2–4 p.m.) featuring FWB lows, $1 off, and 2-for-1 on any bakery item. Every bite is a delight!

Best croissants I’ve had so far in Philly and it’s a 15min walk from me! I had a regular croissant, pistachio croissant and a raisin croissant for my partner. The service was fast and friendly and the prices are so reasonable!
