To begin. Found this place awhile back completely by accident. Bought a few fresh filled donuts and haven’t stopped thinking about them since! They haunt my dreams. I love buttercream donuts! And travel 25 miles to get them from here as they are the closest I have found to a childhood bakery that made the absolute best ones closed decades ago. My only frustration is that the taste and consistency are touch and go each visit.
Classic South Philly bakery. It’s our favorite. When my adult kids come over for dinner, they ask if we can pick up Frangelli’s for dessert. A twisty donut with a hot cup of coffee is like heaven!
