FYAHSIDE JAMAICAN BISTRO

Ordered from Grubhub but the driver delivered to the wrong house, so I got a refund from Grubhub. And I didn’t opt for re delivery right away because I had to leave soon. This was all fine because none of this was the restaurant’s fault. And I planned to try again the next day because of the good reviews here.
What bothered me was the restaurant felt the need to call me afterwards with an attitude.
I picked up the phone and they said “so you said you didn’t get your food” I confirmed by telling them it was delivered to the wrong address. And all they said was “okay” then hung up.
What is up with the attitude? I paid and waited then the food was delivered to someone else. I was even fine with it because I understand it wasn’t the restaurant’s fault. But the restaurant somehow felt like they had the right to call me and interrogated me on why I got a refund on the food I didn’t receive.
Of course this gives me every reason to never order from here again.

I get the Veggie Platter. Prices are so reasonable. Mac & Yams are really good, Cabbage so soft and flavorful. Husband gets Curry Chicken. He loves it.

They don’t never have any food. Yet they have the doors open music blasting. If you don't have food to serve lock up the store. And learn how to answer the phone. I don't know what kind of business this is, but it's not gonna be successful until you learn to keep up with your customers and have food readily available and answer the phone to take orders.

My favorite place in the neighborhood. I literally come here atleast once a week because their food is consistent and they are courteous people. I always get jerk chicken or oxtails.

To buy food in there all the time and get the attitude like the owner don’t want you in the store, when all you’ve done is come in and spend money, tells me the owner needs to be humbled, so that he realizes his customers is why his store makes anything.

You go in there l, say good afternoon and stared at like you have two heads. Nasty attitude, will never shop here again!

Customers come in your store and spend $100s on your food, and you fon’t at least greet them? Very unprofessional business, in it for the money snd have horrible customer service.

Just give me your money and get out. Pretty much their attitude with me.

The food was generally good, but I was not impressed with the red beans and rice. The pepper steak was tasty, though the portion size was a bit on the smaller side.
Overall, for the cost, I expected more generous servings, especially of the pepper steak. Overall, it could have been better value for the price.

This is the only spot i go to. Its clean , food is great, and the folks who run it are nice . If you haven't checked em out do so!. Fair price and they serve alot .

Been tryna find a good Caribbean food spot in Philly forever and still have no luck, oxtails were tough and flavorless oxtail gravy was watery and flavorless… the cabbage was the only saving grace for this platter.
