I buy from here very seldom and Friday I purchased Oxtails, candied yams, cabbage and Macaroni and the oxtail taste different I can barely taste the sauce it has a more smoked and stringy taste… They were very hard to chew but my stew chicken was soooo good and I don’t even like chicken but I don’t know why the oxtails taste different but maybe they were old idk something is very different about them… Please correct this!

There yams are the best . But the food is the best. I love this Jamaican spot. The name fits them .

I wanted to like it. The food tasted so bad! Undercooked and not seasoned well. Both servings of chicken were wet in an odd way.

Easily the best oxtails I’ve had & you can’t beat the price point. The food is so delicious time and time again. I consistently order on DoorDash and delivery is always fast. The food is fresh and they’ve never let me down. I want to try other options one day, but the oxtails got me hooked.

I order thru GrubHub for delivery today. Chicken stew, rice and beans and cabbage. And a side of yams! It was all so so good! Ive been sick for a few days and really don't like ordering take out. I wanted something comforting and not fast food. This hit the spot. Can't wait to order from them again! I called today to tell them and the person who answered the phone said she does all of the cooking so I'm glad I did call to be able to tell her. Yummy.

I’ve never had oxtail so tangy and sweet. It falls right off the bone. The Mac and cheese is out of this world. Rice and peas are amazing. So good 1000000/10

I ordered 2 platters curry chicken and oxtail,the chicken taste like it was boiled with no flavor. The oxtail was entirely too sweet for my liking. Out of everything I only enjoyed the white rice.

The price of the food isn't bad, but I am not a fan of the bowls they give you the food in. The taste of the food is just ok the yams are too hard and too many bones in the curry chicken.

Food was blahh. They don’t give you a lot of meat on the platters. The Mac and cheese was tasteless! Rice was undercooked. Sweet potatoes were bland. I will stick with Jamacian D’s!

The food is hammer , easily one of the best spots in the city , I’m mad I’m just now finding out about this place. S/o to the lady at the front bless her heart. Ate my platter in like 3 minutes I ain’t even get to enjoy it ?

This is my first ordering. The oxtails,beans and rice, mac and cheese are to die for. But the cabbage could have been cooked a little longer. Could of gave me more yams. But overall the food was good and I will order

i love yu Ms Wendy , i ran to this store after seeing reviews on tik tok and i was not disappointed.. i ordered pepper steak rice cabbage and a side of yams ,, yu can literally taste the generations of love in the food . the meat is tender the yams tasted like i was on the island and the cabbage was refreshing,, the food will put yu in a coma i love this place because it has a different taste than all the other caribbean restaurants that all taste the same .. i will be back shortly definitely 10/10 i respect a black woman making it happen but more importantly yu can taste and feel the love ,, definitely a hidden gem- yur niece
