Purchase a Whiting platter from there not only was the wait time long this fish tasted like they cooked it in a bowl of salt ,the mac and cheese was dry all this while you could here arguments in the back Gigi,s use to be good now unless your just don't want to cook go to popeye, s for some chicken.

Platters are skimpy,not worth t money.fish platters are scraps not even a serving.Vegetable greens are not cooked just simmered in h20 no seasoning just water. Still crunchy. Do better.. Pls

I'm sorry but this was some of the nastiest food.. five years ago I would recommend Gigi,b but today's experience was horrible... I got a large fish platter .. it came with 3 save a lot frozen fish that was cold and dry , Mac n cheese that had to have been scrapped from the bottom .. and cabbage that was tasteless.. for $19 it was not worth it ...

Fried Whiting platter with French fries was simply fantastic! Piping hot I could tell the oil was fresh! Not too many bones in the fish which is what I prefer. Oxtails are a little small but still good. I caught them on a good day and I’m definitely going back!

I’m a true Southern Soul when it comes to delicious food. With this restaurant I FINALLY can say that they threw down. Each and everything that I’ve tasted from here was superb! For those that have the nerve to complain about fish bones and the seasoning… obviously delicious soul food is not your forte. This spot is now on the list as my weekend meal ???. They make it worth it ?

This was the worse soul food. Greens no taste/flavor. Mac and cheese noodles over done and taste gross. Like season your food and make sure it’s cooked correctly. Fish no taste and chicken taste like fish. Never ever again and I will tell all my people absolutely NOT!!!!

I purchased from the truck at The Dell. Fried Jerk Whiting, Collards, and Rice and Beans. Ate the Collards immediately. Saved the fish and rice for home. Within 10 minutes of eating the Greens, I started feeling ill. I got home and threw up so much my throat is raw. Glad I paid with credit card so I can get my money back.
The line for their food was the longest. Actually it was the only line. I wonder how many others they got sick?

What they did at the festival was disgusting. They were out there charging people $18 for 4 party wings, the Mac and cheese was GREASY AND OVER COOKED and the greens tasted like they were straight out of the can unseasoned. The sides were an additional $8. Which is crazy for the amount that they gave already. I wouldn’t eat at the store if this is how the truck is serving their city.

The jerk chicken was amazing good spice. The mac and cheese was super good it got better than the last time I had it. The yams were perfectly sweet and had good flavor. Recommend to anyone who likes good Jamaican food.
