Ate here for a quick meal when I was in town for a layover (recommended by a friend). I still think about this meal 2 years later. It’s a vegans dream. Creative and fun foods, reasonable prices for amount you get, clearly labeled, and most importantly, absolutely delicious. Loved their tahini shake which of course they are famous for.

Mint Chocolate Tehina shakes was really good! The falafel sandwich sauce felt a little bit salty. Overall great vegetarian food!

Food was decent, falafel was definitely the best part of the meal and their fries were good too. Shakes were missing something. Gets a little loud with the fryer in the back, but still can chat with friends. Employees were great.

Falafel sandwich: good falafel. Cold, hardened fries. When I asked about fresh fries, they insisted they "were fresh". It doesn't take a lot to offer a fresh batch, versus losing a customer.

I visited this falafel place yesterday and was disappointed to discover it’s Israeli-owned, serving Shami/Egyptian dishes like falafel and hummus. Cultural appropriation at its finest! profiting off dishes with deep Arab roots while erasing their origins. If you’re going to serve our food, at least respect where it comes from.

Gross. Dont recommend. If you’re looking for real authentic middle eastern food don’t come here.

I enjoyed the Falafel Salad, which included baby kale, napa cabbage, six falafel balls, carrot, beet, marinated green cabbage, cucumber, fresh herbs, za'atar sunflower seeds, lemon date vinaigrette, tehina, and served with an Israeli pickle.

Read that Questlove recommended Goldie. I went with the falafel hummus platter that came with hummus and falafel, side of pita and side veggie dish with pickle. Solid and recommended!

Have never been to a place that wouldn't put hummus on a falafel sandwich.

They make the best hummus and the tahini shake is incredible. Dropped a star because the falafel aren’t made to order and no matter how good the recipe is, falafel that were just sitting around don’t taste great.

Falafel was crispy. Sauce is good. Huge portion. Fries were well cooked, but the seasoning was too heavy. Otherwise, returning. The Turkish Coffee Milkshake? To die for.

I am not vegan but I love a good humus. Some of the best falafel I have ever had (everyone who has come with me agrees). And the shakes are great. First sip ? second sip ?

I was in Philadelphia recently on an annual trip, and for the second year in a row, I had a lunch at this Goldie location on Sansom street. I'll probably do that again in the future, since I haven't had an item on their menu yet that I didn't find delicious. Before this most recent visit, I saw a previous review praising their shakes and decided to give one a try alongside my food. I ended up choosing the mint shake, and I'd gladly order that again. I don't have anything negative at all to say about Goldie. I've been thoroughly satisfied both times I've ordered from this location and next time I'm in the city I'll gladly do so again.
