Marathon is a full-service restaurant in the Center City/Rittenhouse Square area. Sort of an American bistro. Pretty packed during lunch. Still got my food quickly. Got the scallop Caesar salad--a lunch special. At least 6 large scallops, not bad for $21.
Marathon Grill never disappoints. It's my go to place meeting friends and family in Center City. Staff is friendly and attentive, food is fresh and ample portions. The vibe is energetic with a very diverse crowd of office workers, visitors snd shoppers..

Go during happy hour! We got a bunch of apps and made it into dinner. Service was great, nicely passed, not in your face, but always within view. By going early we also beat the rush and had no wait.
