My friend and I went to Gou this weekend. It was our first time at a Haitian restaurant. The staff were wonderful. Friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. I highly recommend Gou and I will be going back again soon.

The meatballs and the Haitian pastry filled with smoked herring were perfect appetizers, savory and full of character, offering a surprising explosion of flavor, smoky and perfectly spiced. Tender conch, expertly seasoned, and rich oxtails that fell off the bone, layered with warm, aromatic spices, were amazing main dishes.
