My last last review of Grace was in 2015 and it's time for an update. I've been here a few times in 2023 and this neighborhood bar has really stepped up its game. The service is now outstanding, with friendly bartenders who make you feel welcome and serve great cocktails. The fireside chat is my personal favorite cocktail. You can still get a great bacon cheeseburger here, called the Tavern burger, cooked to temperature with the bacon covered in a generous portion of melted cheese. The chicken tenders are the best in the city, and pair perfectly with a bourbon mayo. I will get them every time I come here. If you live close by, Grace Tavern should be the neighborhood bar you frequent.

We really liked the food and the ambiance of the outdoor seating. We got fish and chips, veggie burger, caesar salad, and blackened green beans. It was all delicious. However, the service was very slow. So when you sit down, I recommend to already have your order memorized. Also, the indoor and outdoor seating is inaccessible for those with mobility limitations. The inside requires two large steps up to enter. The outside has a curb that drops down a couple inches. There is no alternate route around this curb to enter the outdoor eating area. It’s a shame because this can easily be fixed with a small ramp. It would probably be more comfortable for the servers as well to have a ramp there. For this reason, I deducted a star.Vegetarian options: A few but not extensiveParking: Parking can be tricky in this area.Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible

By far the coolest most unique pub in the Rittenhouse area. Ask for a drink from the cold fridge. Don't expect anything other than a chill vibe. If you have the chance to be served by Ian, you got lucky. Ask for the green tea shot. Bring your friends, your first date, your husband, and - your kids can come too.

Grace Tavern definitely served me the best burger I have ever had. Unpretentious local bar with great friendly staff, a pretty impressive looking menu, overall really enjoyed.

Came in when no other restaurant was open. The cook put his heart into the burgers and fish. Very friendly and attentive staff. Needs a bit more online representation.
