Great food, so worth the visit!! And the lemonade was amazing. This restaurant like many in Philly is CASH ONLY. And all the food items is alaCart, but so worth it

Great experience! They were super busy but made sure to get us a table fast. The food was so creative and tasty. The best part was the service, manager (forget his name) was super kind and made sure to check on everyone, server (Alyson) was a delight and very attentive and sweet. 10/10 can’t wait to go back!

WOW what an outstanding experience. We came at 10am on a Sunday and were seated immediately, service was so responsive and quick. There’s plenty of seating so even full it didn’t feel overcrowded. The host Alex and our waitress Kate were wonderful and really contributed to the warm, cozy vibes of the restaurant. Awesome music plays faintly in a way that adds to the joy and bustle but doesn’t make it too loud to have a conversation. The specialty lattes were OUT OF THIS WORLD creative and delicious. We couldn’t decide which stuffed French toast to try since they all sounded incredible so we got the French toast board which is a sampler of three—somehow each was better than the last?? Divine. We also got the kitchen sink skillet which was so flavorful and filling; a great balance to all the sweet. We took the train and then walked which was super easy, but there’s also ample street parallel parking. Don’t forget it’s cash only, but there’s an on-site ATM. Cannot wait to come back; this Green Eggs Cafe is a must-visit!

My friend and I shared a pitcher of Mimosas to begin with. We also shared their deliciously decadent Peach Cobbler French Toast. My friend loved the Macaroni and Cheese and her side of potatoes. It was our first time at any Green Eggs Cafe and we will be back! The service was great and everything was wonderful!

Tried out Green Eggs Café in Philly after hearing the buzz, but honestly? The experience was pretty average. Not bad, not amazing—just aggressively fine.
I had the eggs benedict, which was decent. Not offensive, not memorable—kind of like the brunch equivalent of an “it’s fine” text. The hash potatoes with cheese were super greasy—like, “should’ve come with a free napkin bath” greasy. And the coffee? Meh. Flat. The kind of cup that makes you regret not stopping at literally any gas station on the way.
Service was totally okay. No issues there—friendly enough, efficient, nothing to complain about, but also nothing that made the experience feel special.
Biggest downside? Parking. It’s a hassle, so unless you’re showing up by teleportation or divine intervention, factor in a mild urban scavenger hunt to your brunch plans.
Overall: It was fine. Nothing was terrible, but nothing wowed me either. Philly has a lot of great spots, so I’m not sure I’d come back here unless I was already nearby, starving, and couldn’t feel my legs.

Soooo good. My friend and I will absolutely go back. I got chicken and waffles Benedict. Im a huge Benedict fan and don't want anything other than classic Benedict . The chicken and waffles was amazing. The menu has many different pancakes and french toast items. Chocolate chip cookie dough stuffed french toast. They also have red velvet pancakes. Its been over a week since I ate there and I am still thinking about what I did not eat. I 100% recommend. And will absolutely go back.

Food was really terrific
I been eating at this location for some time now, but today is going to be my last visit. I like to sit at the bar when I want a quick bite but today service was slow. I was informed that it was a rush and the server was very apologetic about the wait, and made sure me and my friend was comfortable as we waited for our food. I'm given this location a 1 star because shortly after requesting ketchup, I overheard someone (manger/owner? ) berate the server about shaking the bottle. Mind you, we shake the ketchup every time we use it. I feel for the young lady cause shes always provides great service any time she takes care of us. The commotion ended with the angry man storming off, leaving the server visibly upset in the middle of service in front of everyone. I quickly asked for the bill and left. If this is the way you treat your staff, I can no longer support this establishment. I'm gonna miss the French Toast, it was one of my favorites there!

The food was horrible, the customer service was even worst! We got the surf & turf & french toast. I’ve never had a nasty crab cake until I went here yesterday morning. It was sooo salty. The host was not friendly. She said she’s been there for 4 years but seemed lost, confused and was not accommodating. I use to love this restaurant years ago. I’m not sure of the changes that were made, but it definitely changed! I wish we picked another place to spend over a hundred dollars, it wasn’t worth it. I do not recommend.
