Very smokey dive. I drunkenly rambled at some guy that had the misfortune of sitting next to me for like an hour last time I was there.
This is not where you go for a quiet, sophisticated evening. It gets quite lively, but I was surprised how easy it was to find a seat even late on a Friday. You can actually have a conversation here and still feel the energy of the city.
You know, the red velvet booths were super comfortable, though it did feel a little cramped when it got busy on Friday. Still, plenty of room to chat and people-watch for a while, which was nice.
