The staff here is usually really awesome, but the guy working the counter this morning isn’t the best. He charges me for oat milk every time he takes my order despite me clearly saying regular milk (i used to say whole but switched to saying regular by chance he was misunderstanding me). I am not lactose intolerant or vegan, and I prefer whole milk because it is unfortunately more nutritionally dense than oat. I have no reason to spend the extra money on oat. This is an issue with consent, and I hope this guy reads this and reflects. It’s not cool to repeatedly add charges on to drinks that people didn’t order.
Edit: I write this review because this isn’t the first and only negative experience I and other people have had with him. These guys will ridicule orders and make negative remarks to customers. It’s a shame honestly. The ladies and queers who work here are wonderful.
coffee is good. the breakfast burrito is GREAT! Best coffee plus meal to go of the coffee shops in this area.
Love love their Bagels 🥯 and coffee beans!!! Bagels were freshly made and coffee beans (French pressed coarse). I’m definitely coming back as a frequent customer! Love supporting small businesses like here 👍🏽 ThankYou!
Very kind staff! & good drinks
Please invest in better matcha — genuinely undrinkable for the price and very powdery; I had to throw it away after a few sips
This cute coffee shop right next to the market was a great stop on our stop to west philly. We wanted to mix it up a bit so they gave us a recommendation based on our usual and it was pretty solid. Earthy and strong with a bit of light foam. The place itself was spacious and even though it was busy, we didn't have much of a wait. The staff was pretty friendly. It seemed like the prices were pretty good as well. We didn't work here but the wifi seemed pretty decent as well and we saw others working. Overall a good spot.
Great place to talk with friends ?

I really like the chai tea. Lots of vegan options. Usually quiet first thing in the morning.

The bagels were disappointing but they do have fun drinks and good looking pastries.
i love this green line location. it’s my favorite place to come study because the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. the location is also right next to clark park so it’s nice to be able to sit in the grass with some coffee . i always get a cold brew with oat and lavender and it never disappoints.

Some of the worst coffee I’ve ever had— coffee flavored water at best. Shame, because the atmosphere is nice.

I've been here twice and the sandwiches are amazing but the baristas always give me such an attitude. They act like you being there is such an inconvenience and they spend most of their shift on their phones or talking to other baristas. Not to mention that there will be 3 baristas behind the counter and it'll take 20 minutes to make 2 sandwiches.
