I was there because they were doing karaoke it was my friend's birthday. So much fun! I love the look I love the collectible figurines behind the glass. The staff was like literally a dream. I would totally come back I had such a good time
No matter how much money you spend, how politely you treat people this place treats people of color less th as n patrons. I especially felt some type of way because this bar is in the neighborhood that k grew up in. I’ll never spend one red cent there as long as I live. It’s a bunch of insecure 50+ yr old man/boys that control the environment. Everyone in there is on heavy drugs no matter if there is a family with children present or not . The bottom shelf liquor selection is less that what I have in my own home bar .the only tho I can say is the fries are there best thing about this place . The people are garbage
This was a cute bar. Cozy, clean, and well maintained, the staff was friendly and accommodating. Prices were a little high for the food. We got perogies w/ fried onions, poutine, and a chicken sandwich. The perogies were cooked well and had a decent flavor. The poutine was good. The chicken sandwich was a little overcooked but otherwise tasted fine. This is a good location to catch up with friends.
Delicious food!
Delicious food!
I've been to Green Rock Tavern numerous times, and it’s one of the best spots in the neighborhood. Jamie, the owner, is so cool and down to earth, Nicole is the best. The food is always delicious from pierogi to burgers and fries they got you covered. The drink selection is great, with local beers and cocktails. The sense of community here is fantastic; everyone is friendly and makes you feel at home. If you’re in Philadelphia, definitely check it out! Fridays is karaoke night and they also have quizzing on Wednesday!
This is one of my favorite little corners on the planet

The service sucked for a while and the place kinda lost its charm. Now it's back to being good again. It's a bar so the menus kind of limited but what they make is really good. Burgers, pierogies,
Last couple times I was in the bartenders were really cool. The old school punk on the radio was especially appreciated. Keep it up green rock you're winning again.

I cannot give enough love to this place. I’ve only been there for Friday night karaoke (and at there once) but the food and the service was wonderful. AND the people that patronize this place (at least as I’be seen of Karaoke night) are wonderful, so kind and lovely. You might not know anyone, but if you talk to anyone they will treat you as if you’ve known them for years.

I can't say anything negative about the places,
I can't say anything positive about the place,
It's a place to get a drink
Lovely wee bar. Spent a few hours there one evening as I was in Philly on vacation. Bar staff and locals were friendly. Not a tourist place but your normal everyday folk enjoying a beer or two.
Had a few Old Fashioneds that we enjoyed outside. Very nice.
