I heard nothing but good things about this bakery. I decided to try it out not long ago to see what people were raving about.It's a classic local bakery on the north side of Philly. When I walked in the staff was helpful.I purchased (cash only) their vanilla pound cake. Would I say it's the best cake I've ever had? No. I wasn't a fan of the icing. Been going here for years. Vanilla pound cake is my favorite. They look like cinder blocks but so rich, buttery and delicious! Lines get around the corner during the holidays as people buy in bulk. It's a family business and they're wonderful folks.

The best pound cake in the city always moist & fresh the vanilla icing pound cake is my favorite. I would recommend if you like pound cake you give this place a try you won't be disappointed the only thing I can complain about I guess is the price $17 bucks for a pound cake is nuts but it does weigh like 4lbs it's so heavy it's deff worth a try in my opinion not something you get all the time but for sure worth a try once in a while.
