Above average tasting hoagies and other sandwiches. Relatively high prices. Rude, slow service. Not a safe neighborhood like it used to be.Definitely worth trying. I have friends who love this joint. I have no clue about why there are so many one star reviews. This is an inexpensive deli, not Gordon Ramsay's $200-per-plate restaurant. Get over it.

The amount of attitude the Asian man at the counter gave me when I didn't have enough money to pay for what I was buying for a friend is unbelievable. I was trying to ask my friend what she wanted least so I could take it out but he kept cutting me off and rushing me. Apparently this is not the first time for my friend. I am never coming back unless I'm forced to. A nice lady behind me had to offer to pay the rest because he would not let me talk or take off some things so I could afford it. DO NOT come here, it is not the same as it was years ago, I don't even think they sell hoagies anymore.

The sandwich was disgusting. Against my better judgement I ordered and it was gross. The place was dirty.

Growing up, Greenman's hoagies were the best, always a treat, worth the 20 minute ride to get there. Then for years the 2 hour drive to get them. Then they changed hands, many times possibly, and the quality sank each time. We were in Philly last week and got hoagies. We ordered 12 inch tuna and Italian hoagies. They both were made out of 3 four inch ends cut off of other rolls, which were not fresh and were not Amoroso's. The contents were sparse and the lunch meat did not seem like Dietz and Watson at all. Probably the worst hoagies we ever purchased in or out of Philly. Never again.

Worked at Greenmans back in the early 2000's when the Greenman brothers owned it. Fantastic food and service. Now it's owned by a couple who kept the name and number but have ZERO experience. The hoagies are disgusting, I ordered a lb of American cheese only to find a dead bug between slices. My child reached into a box (one of many thrown around the store) to get a lollipop and was greeted by a roach running up her hand. I witnessed the female owner in the Dollar Tree on fkd avenue stocking up on stuff to resell in their "store". The prices are almost 2x what you would find in a supermarket or elsewhere and change EVERY TIME you go in. It's a health code violation in all meanings of the word. DO NOT GO!!

Recently went there for the first time in years and was very disappointed from the door. The door was locked and there was a man sitting inside who opened the door. From the moment I walked in I knew this was not the Greenman's that I remembered. There was absolutely no deli aroma and the store looked like it needed to be cleaned. The man that was there offered no friendly greeting. I immediately turned around and walked out. I gave a 1 star because there was no zero. This establishment should not try to operate under the previous owners name and the previous owners should have taken their good reputation with them by not selling their good name to the current owners.I would recommend Marinucci's on St Vincent street instead

Monster hoagie has been some thing I’ve enjoyed here forever a decade, whenever I’m in town I always plan on getting one to eat there and one to go

I just think they should stick to one kind of bread and if they are going to advertise a big long hoagie they should be able to have the bread in hand at all times for it. I have order twice in this past year and both times they didn’t have the big long bread they advertise. They gave me two small ones instead or I should say one medium size one and a small one. It taste amazing just get it together with the bread size.

Owners were very nice and friendly however, unfortunately the "hoagies" we ordered might have been the worst excuse for hoagies ever. 2 thin pieces of meat and a stale roll- that's all! So disappointing! We were hoping for an "original Greenman's experience. Complete waste of money. If I could rate a 0, I would. Last time visiting this place. Shame.

Today I went in on my cash app card it said I had $9 when she ran everything up she said I only had $2 on my card I checked and it said $9 and she said you have to cancel so I canceled it the moment I walked out the store that $9 turned into zero
