It's been a while since the last time I was in this area. My intention was to visit another establishment nearby that I know quite well, but I wanted to try something different, and Guate Gualan couldn't have been better. It's a family-friendly place with excellent food, where the owners, Oscar and Verónica, will make you feel right at home. I look forward to visiting them again soon.

Ordered the churrasco con tortillas and pork tamales and chicken tamales. Everything was fine and tasted delicious but the chicken inside the tamale was still raw. I called them so they are aware of this now and might just be a one time mistake

Very bad service and they charge charges to your debit card without any justification so you will never return again. The waitress is very despotic.

Only my second time eating Guatemalan food, I'm impressed with this place though. Place is cozy and the food taste Great!!!, I love the way they season their food. A lot of times you go to these latin American food joints, and the food is bland and really no flavor. It's because they try to cater to our American taste, rest assured bro...they don't cook that way at home. So it's great when you go to a place like this, and the food is REALLY Authentic ?.
