Not enough words for how AMAZING HipCityVeg is! ?✨ ALL VEGAN fast food? Done right? Yes, this is it! Delicious fast food style choices include burgers, chicken, fries & milkshakes. The inside is bright & cheery. Always amazing service. Food is so fresh, so delicious, just perfect! Highly recommend their fried “chicken” sandwhich as that’s what got them famous. Super massive, crispy “chicken” (vegan) with a wonderful bun, toppings & their ranch is mind blowing. Their “nuggets” are also great to grab! Our meat eater friend who tagged along commented how he didn’t even know it was mock chicken. ALSO- their sweet potato fries are the best I’ve ever had- no joke. Seriously, don’t skip this spot!

I'm a lil upset cuz everytime I come here there's always a problem. It's hit or miss with customer service. I thought I'd give it another shot but everytime I come there'd always something wrong with my order. I ordered a large meal deal and got a small drink and small fry. The woman who took my order looked miserable. I work in the restaurant industry. I know how hard it can be but it's every time I come. I'm so upset. Cuz it takes me 40 mins to drive into the city just to get a vegan cheesesteak. :(Food is amazing. Service could be better.
I absolutely love this HCV location! The food is always Top Tier! The staff are so kind! My best experiences were with Sandy and Layonna. I place orders with HCV for Penn Campus, and they have gone above and beyond with being helpful. I truly appreciate them so much!

Every time I’ve gone here I’ve gotten the same thing. Crispy chickn with no ranch. I kid you not the last 15 times I’ve been here they have put ranch on my sandwich. It’s very annoying and a simple request.

The atmosphere of this location was very hip and calm feeling - lots of cute plants. The employees were really nice and gave their recommendations based on my interests. I ended up getting the smokehouse burger which had amazing flavor - couldn’t even tell it wasn’t meat - and I regularly eat meat. The tastiest component was the bbq sauce which was flavorful and not too sweet. The patty itself was a little small but still a good size. The brioche bun was soooo good. I also got the sweet potato fries which were delicious as well with a little char. They had a slightly sweet seasoning which paired well with the hipcity tangy dipping sauce. Only thing was they could have been a little crispier, but overall amazing and can’t wait to have them again. The turmeric tangerine juice was also delicious and not too overly sweet. I got the impression it was pretty healthy for juice and I really enjoyed it. Give this locally owned place a try! Food was just okay. I got the Philly cheesesteak and the onion rings, I wouldn't write home about either. They wouldn't allow an upgrade of the meal deal for the onion rings so it came out to $21.50. The drinks on their own are wildly expensive, $6 for a small?! It just looks like powdered mix that they add water to, but I could be wrong. I don't know that I'll be back.
One word. Disgusting. I ordered on Uber eats from this location and my cheesesteak was covered in oil and grease so much is got all over the bag. This is so gross. I’ve been a customer here since they opened and this was my first time ordering from this location. So nasty and unhealthy.

It’s very oily and smaller than a traditional cheesesteak so it’s not worth $15. It’s a little bigger than a po boy. It tasted alright but it was too oily to enjoy. I wouldn’t buy it again; I prefer the chickun cheesesteak from nourish; it’s the same price and you get more bang for your buck. The service was pretty quick!

I traveled from Harrisburg, PA, for work in Philly, and remembered this vegan spot my brother told me about. He said it's the best vegan cheesteak he's ever had! When I got there, I was told the grill was not working. I told the brother, named Enoch, that I traveled all the way from Harrisburg for that cheesesteak. He said, "bro, I got you! You came all the way from Harrisburg? I'm going to make your sandwich on the griddle." THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE!! That joint was slamming, and I could only imagine what it have tasted like grilled. I got the Kale Lemonade to wash it down. My only complaint is that you're not in Harrisburg or Hershey!Vegetarian options: Vegan havenDietary restrictions: All vegan options
