We had no idea this was located inside Smokey Joe's, the infamous Penn bar! The walls are filled with photos of Penn athletes and there are stained glass lights with the Penn logo. My husband is an alum and my daughter attends so I've been hearing about this bar for years - it lived up to the hype. The pizza was good (had a supreme) as was the pretzel appetizer. Decent pizza, great by Philly standards! Some are describing it as 'burnt' and not realizing that slightly charred crust is an intentional and fine delicacy that is a staple of pizza in places like New Haven. I recommend the spicy and getting takeout unless you're looking for a bar atmosphere.Limited toppings but good pie.

The place isn’t the cleanest which bothered me I cleaned the table the best I could it’s a college bar hole in the wall kinda vibe. But the pizza fries and service were very good.
