Very detailed, knowledgeable, FUN pasta making class! The space is intimate and Nick was great at teaching us how to properly make pasta. Hands down the best pasta we had in Philly. The pistachio pesto sauce is out of this world and the charcuterie boards before the meals were delicious! They had pasta kits available for sale which we snagged after the class. It was a different fun thing to do and we cant wait to make our pasta at home :-)

We had an absolutely amazing time in this class! Olivia was so knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. She provided such a fun experience for us and taught us so much! I have already told friends they need to go and we hope to host a class at home in the future! Olivia mentioned expanding the class offerings and I think that would be a great idea! We would love to come back!

We LOVED the gluten free pasta making class! Everything about it from the experience, to the food to the education we learned. Would love more gluten free class opportunities. The 'true' gluten free/celiac world isn't that large but being able to connect with other people last night who have a gluten allergy and share travel experiences / personal food experiences was more than I could have expected. We were able to make 5 gluten free pastas, it was served with 2 sauces (a pesto and a tomato sauce). In addition there was a charcuterie plate made when we got there, slices bread and olive oil along with amazing homemade gelato at the end!The gluten free dough was already prepped when we got there, but our instructor, Olivia was more than willing to talk about how she made it and how to perfect gluten free pasta. All of the tools were pretty simple and can be bought at home to replicate. She said sometimes they do sell the tools in shop, but didn't have any available that evening.Our instructor was great, she made the class unique to each person attending and had a lot of knowledge to share on pasta making, wine, Italy and so much more. She truly made it a memorable experience. I can't wait to come back and bring friends!Can't recommend enough!

I’d say this is more of a beginner class. All we did was roll pasta shapes. No actual cooking. And we left with no recipes. The instructor also is not a chef and the description of the class is a little misleading. It is a little pricey for what the class entails.We did have a great night and a lot of fun, but wouldn’t do it again.

I have taken 2 classes here now, about a year or more apart, and both times were incredible! Most recently I went for pasta making and stayed to eat the pasta we made with 2 incredible sauces (bolognese and pesto) made by the Homemade by Bruno team.Jen, our teacher, was incredible! She was very knowledgeable, easy to follow and fun to talk to. She made the whole experience very lovely. She also did an incredible job with the gelato that we got to end our night with.Highly recommend this place!!!

I cannot say enough good things about this class! Olivia led our class- she was incredible and made the experience so special. We loved learning about all the history and the origination of the different types of pastas and sauces from all over Italy! Not to mention how accommodating Olivia was to various allergies and dietary restrictions in our group. Making the pasta was so fun and the sauces Olivia made to pair with the pasta were delicious!! I can’t wait to come back and haven’t stopped recommending it to everyone I speak to!

We enjoyed a fun and informative evening making pasta with Nicholas. He explained the origins of the pasta and the reason for its naturally "al dente" texture. The two types of pasta sauces were flavorful and it was fun to learn how to make the different pasta shapes. We topped the evening off with homemade pistachio gelato. Yum! Consider spending a special night out with friends and family at Homemade by Bruno with Nicholas.

Amazing experience. We’ve taken other pasta classes and this has been the most knowledgeable and fun.Unlike other classes you won’t be able to make the pasta dough. However, our instructor Olivia, made some in front of us and there are opportunities to purchase the flour to make at home. The dough has to sit for like an hour so it’s understandable and doesn’t impact the experience.We loved being able to make so many shapes. We learned so much from the class and can’t wait to come back and try other methods.We had the Vodka Sauce and Cacio e Pepe sauce with our meal. Delicious! We left full and happy!

We gifted our parents this cooking class for Christmas and it was the best gift we have given to them in over 30 years! We felt like we were cooking in the Bruno’s family kitchen! Johnny was an outstanding host who shared great stories with us! Olivia was the best teacher and she really explained the reasoning and science behind cooking, which was really cool! We made a divine Cacio Pepe and a Ragu that transported us right back to Italy! 5 of out of 5 stars - highly recommend for a family who loves to cook and spend time together!

Last night we kicked off our Christmas holiday season by participating in a cooking class, hosted by Homemade with.Bruno. Johnny Bruno, our host was fantastic and our instructor, Olivia was professional, kind and fun to be around. Our night consisted of preparing several shapes of pasta and learning little ticks and trips on how to cook the authentic Italian way! We appeared to be novice chefs, especially because we are Irish. This did not stop our host and instructor from treating us like family! We cannot wait to come back! Thank you, Homemade by Bruno, for making us feel at home. Please treat yourself to this culinary experience!! Everyone deserves to treat themselves, and this is a real treat!!!
