Indo Spice Restaurant is an excellent Indonesian restaurant in South Philly. The Indonesian dishes are very good, with rich, authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. The service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is relaxed, cozy, and welcoming. The owners and staff make guests feel like family from the moment they walk in. The place is impeccable, clean, bright, and tidy, decorated with paintings of Indonesian landscapes and a map of Indonesia.
Guests recommend the appetizers, main dish, es cendol, Mie Ayam, Nasgor Cumi, and ice pallu butung, which is a must to get. The food is exactly what you want from Indonesian food. Prices are reasonable given the quality and quantity. Parking is free on weekends, and the area is safe. Whether driving over an hour or visiting from out of town, the experience is worth it. This restaurant is a must go and highly recommended to anyone looking for real Indonesian cuisine in the United States.
