Attended the Flyers event with Gritty tonight and cannot express how amazing the hospitality and atmosphere were. Cookies were phenomenal as usual (our go to!!) and the staff was so kind. Will definitely be back!

We visited this new place today, service was great *warm welcoming **attention to customer needs and wants! 1st visit and wish visit again! After a 3hrs drive from VA to visit Pats, the Insomnia caught our eyes! Who can resist "cookiesss" these were served warm and beside the low 30° +29mph winds the cookie box survived our dining time. My favorite was peanut butter cookie. Perfectly crispy and great flavor. Double Chocolate and Mint Double Chocolate were good! Insomnia associate *young guy with purple highlights*, so courteous, service oriented and caring for delivering the right order, & attention to details made our quick experience unforgettable.

Such a cute experience for children of all ages. The little ones will enjoy telling the password to gain access to behind the secret door. The milkshake bar is a nice touch, along with being able to watch the person make your cookie as you create it. They also have music playing which creates a nice vibe and atmosphere.

Parking: Parking is horrible especially at night.
Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly and a good surprise for them behind the secret door.

I ordered a few cookies for my friend’s birthday and asked the person who rang me up for a pen to sign her birthday card and they brought out a bunch of colored markers and pens it was so sweet!!! They also called and let me pick out replacements for a few out of stock cookies I ordered. Such a nice and accommodating experience, thank you!

I visited the famous Cookielab. I wasn't particularly hungry, but I did want to give it a try.
I got a fun monstrosity of a cookie, with icing, Oreos, Brownies, and Gummy bears. It was actually very good...much better than I expected, and I ended up eating nearly all of it.
The gentleman behind the counter was fun and friendly.
Ultimately, this location is all about the experience, and it is a very neat experience, indeed. $5.25 may sound like a lot for a cookie.
But, $5.25 for a custom, one-of-a-kind, build your own cookie in this unique, hidden lounge? $5.25 is kind of a steal.
I would have loved to try the shakes or the sundaes, but unfortunately, my appetite was at a limit. Maybe someday I can make it back, and give them a try.

This is a lovey place. I requested a gluten free cookie and though they were out, they invited us in the secret lab until they made more. Truly and experience place that adults and kids would love. 10 minutes later, one of the best gluten free cookies I’ve ever had.

First time here and we LOVE IT, little secret spot that made our experience in south philly the best we had. Nothing like spotting by for nice desert after cheesesteak trip! The entering feature and the service we received from JEFF was outstanding. He provided all the details about the menu answered anything questions we had. His carisma and professionalism is definitely something to be recognized for. Definitely a must!

The cookies here are fantastic and the staff is really nice. It’s located right across the street from City Hall. I had the pleasure of working there one year at their Human Resources temping really a nice office and good people. The cookies here are great with a variety of decadent ingredients . They’re warm and buttery, great brownies too. The ice cream is fantastic. I like Insomnia cookiesmore than Crumble cookie place but they are good to! It’s more of a cookie here than a cake. This is a nice place to stop for a treat!

We've been to insomnias all over but when we saw this option while we were in Philly we knew we had to check it out and it did not disappoint. The secret door/passage to get to the "lab" just heightened our anticipation and excitement! Our lab assistant Jeff was the man and just the icing on the cookie to our experience. Extremely personable, fun and even engaging with our 6 year old, 2 year old and 5 months old. The cookies were obviously delicious as always but if you know insomnia you expect nothing less. Can't recommend this place enough. And be sure to request my man Jeff if you go!
