Small sub shop around Penns Landing and I am glad we stopped to get some real Philly cheesetakes to bring DMV... South Philly is the best so far and stayed hot even after a couple of hour drive.
Definitely stop by again and highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a real Philly cheesestakes.

I give Ishkabibble’s a 7/10 overall. I was excited to visit while in Philadelphia as I’d seen a lot of good reviews about them online. The food was fresh and service was quick. There are was also plenty of meat inside the cheesesteak. I felt it was a bit underseasoned though and in hindsight I should have had my condiments added directly to the sandwich as I felt it was a bit dry using the few packets of mayo and ketchup I was provided. It’s also worth noting that there isn’t any seating, especially if visiting from out of town.

I do not recommend Ishkabibbles for chicken cheesesteaks; the chicken used is very dry, tasteless, and chunky. The customer service was good and the restroom was clean.

My in person visit took place a couple years ago. Everything was fairly streamlined. A short wait and friendly atmosphere. I felt the hype. Now, I can only order through delivery services. Tonight, I had an old fave. Cheesesteak with pickles, s, p and k. Red pepper flakes would have made it perfect. Go ahead and try it. Even better the next day, which makes the cost worth it.
It's one of the best Philly steaks I have had. Not soggy. It's pretty simple. The fries is definitely good as well.

While working in Philly this week, my coworkers and I decided to revisit a local favorite - Ishkabibble's. This was my second time enjoying their food, but my first time at this particular location. Both locations are within walking distance of each other, but this one is definitely smaller with limited seating - about eight bar stools total. If you want to sit down and eat comfortably, l'd recommend checking out Ishkabibble's Il just down the street.
This location offers the convenience of ordering inside at the counter or at the outdoor walk-up window. The staff were friendly, greeting us with menus as soon as we walked in and taking our order when we were ready. There were three of us, and we were lucky enough to snag seats inside. One thing I really enjoyed was being able to watch them prepare our food - it only took about five minutes, which was impressive.
I went with the chicken Philly and fries. I was so hungry I didn't even stop to take a photo -- but the sandwich was easily Top 3 for me, maybe even Top 2 if I'm being honest. The fries reminded me of McDonald's fries in the best way -- crispy and satisfying.
Ishkabibble's continues to be a go-to for a fast, flavorful meal with great service. I'll definitely be back to try more from their menu!
