Classic spot that is still going strong it seems. Food is good but its all about that GREMLIN drink! Lol. Anyway this is a choice spot esp when other places that will go unnamed get too crowded with the lines. A south st staple really.

Cheesesteak tasted good. Smaller portion than I expected. More bread than steak. Chicken cheesesteak was more meat but needed more seasoning and cheese.

We were going to the tourist trapped overated place across the street, i think is Jim's, a big line and cheesteak wasn't nothing really special, then I saw this place i hesitated a bit but took my chance, boy did not regret the big cheesteaks sandwiches are absolutely delicious, not kidding now whenever we get a chance we drive the 2 hours from Queens NY, my family favorite cheesteak sandwich heaven, love it!
