This place is underrated. It should be packed ever night. Food, Service, Music, and Drinks are all amazing! Prices are even manageable. Hands down the best latin spot in the entire city. I low key hope it stays a duckie spot. Lol

If this was just based on service.... I would give this place 5 stars. Every server checked on us. Every server got an order from us. Every server took an empty dish from our table. The hostess could have been alil more friendly but everyone else.. all smiles..eager to meet our needs. Nothing was too big of a request. The drinks were amazing. I ordered their new Mango Remy mojito...Delicious! The passionfruit margarita was one of the best I ever had. The steak with onions and rice and gandules... Wow! My boyfriend got the chicken in lemon butter... Out of this world! We definitely said we need to come back during the night night. They had hookah available as well. The booth were cozy and private. You must try this place!

This was my very first time here. I had a great time with my lovely date. The vibe inside was electric. But the thing that stood out to me most was the service. My 2 servers constantly checked on us to make sure we were satisfied and if we needed anything else to make our stay more enjoyable. You gotta come see for yourself. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because it took a while for our food to come out. But once it arrived, it was worth it. I had the red snapper. The presentation was so real that it almost made the fish seem still alive on my plate. I enjoyed the decor, the many TV screens, even one at your personal booth and the DJ was on point and took special latin requests after a nice tip I felt obligated to go him because he was so gracious. I recommend checking this place out. No riff raff either. This is a place you can take your lady to.

The place is extremely ghetto, overrated and overpriced once we ordered the food the server disappeared the food portions for the price were extremely small never again it was a total disgrace and kids going in and out the kitchen thats a health violation smh

I’ve been to Izlas twice, and I have to say, it’s probably one of the best Latino restaurants I’ve tried in Philly. The best way to describe the food is “high-class, chef-quality Latino cuisine.” They take food to another level; even something as simple as Mofongo is incredibly flavorful and beautifully plated. Kudos to the chef!
That said, a word of caution: they add gratuity to your bill without directly informing you (it’s mentioned on the menu), and they still ask for additional tips. I personally find this a bit unethical. The tipping system in the U.S. is already confusing enough, so this just adds to the frustration.
Also, the music is extremely loud. It really takes away from the dining experience (I'd give the atmosphere 0 stars for that). I understand it’s also a nightclub, but I’d much rather enjoy my meal and have a conversation without the distraction of a blasting beat. Not everyone enjoys the same kind of music, and it really made the experience less enjoyable.
Great food, great service, terrible atmosphere. But in general, a highly recommended place for the food.
