Love the Rueben. Prices are a little high but it's convenient and they are a mom and pops place.

A full-stop corner deli with fantastic Heros, Hoagies, sandwiches, Soup and sides. They also have all the basic Snacks and Cleaning Supplies you might need.Kid-friendliness: Jay’s is a classic Deli. If you have kids bring them to order what they want.

I’ve given this store multiple attempts so I think I can give a pretty concrete review of this store.Multiple times this store has done shady things regarding its pricing.I went to buy 2 drinks that clearly rang on the register for $4.42 total, yet the owner said the price is $9 due to sugar tax. Last time I checked, sugar tax is not a 100% tax it’s an 8% tax.Sadly this isn’t the first time I noticed an added on fee to the overall price. STAY AWAY SHADY BUSINESS

OMG, cute little deli with the best sandwiches!! We tried their Italian hoagie and BLT while in town for the Philly half marathon, and our taste buds were thoroughly delighted. We'll definitely be back when visiting again.

I was in Philly for leisure and stayed in the Fairfield across Spruce. Thinking about a long train ride home, I picked up an Italian hoagie at Jay's for the trip, and was extremely pleased with the quality! The meat, cheese, and roll were all very good. For $10 bucks, I loved it. Friendly service as well.

Google says they're open until 8PM, but I showed up at 7:17PM on Sunday, 9/17 and they were closed. Please fix the hours.

Best BEC I've had in the city so far. Decent bagel and they don't make it too skimpy. Def trying hoagies next.

Food was fine, average. What was disappointing was being charged later in the day after paying for my order for a special request to my order. What was my request? I asked them to leave my sandwich whole and to not cut it in half. Less work, extra charge. Disappointing. Just be cognizant of special requests charges while placing your order.

I really enjoyed my sandwich from here! Service was very good. Seems like a convenient location for someone on an errand run in this area. Recommend.
