Barista Scotty was lovely and super polite and accommodating to my restrictive diet. Great atmosphere and food. No plugs to charge devices.

Quick lunch (though you can linger if you have the time) while waiting or passing through the train station. Good burgers.

This is the perfect spot to hang when you're waiting for the train (directly across the street). I had a side salad and BLT. Sandwich was meh, salad was good. Relaxing environment, clean bathrooms, big windows that flood it with natural light and a nice little grab and go store. I'll definitely give this spot another chance.

The Web site said they served dinner, but when we got there, they said they only had a happy hour menu with appetizers. If I had known the menu would be so limited, I would have chosen a different restaurant.

Ordered a smash burger at 1:13. Came out at 1:26. The burger is cold. Not even Luke warm. I tried calling but they don’t take incoming calls. Extremely disappointed!

I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch today. Delicious double smashburger with a side salad. Bright sunshine by the windows on a frigid day. Shout out to Christian, the man who took my order, for bringing over a water in the middle of my meal, unsolicited. I appreciated the kindness and thoughtfulness of that simple action. Thanks.

I had a great experience there yesterday for a late lunch and a business meeting.
I didn't call in advance since there were only 2 of us, but Matt was lovely to work with and couldn't have been more accommoding.
You can either order from the counter and dine downstairs or they have an executive dining room on the 2nd floor with wait service. (We opted for the former.)
The food was delicious, reasonably priced and presented well!
We had a plum salad and turkey sandwich with homemade potato chips.
There were many options for quiet, private conversation as well as a bar and more social tables and chairs (mostly 4-tops).
They were the perfect mix of attentive while giving us space to stay engaged in our hours-long meeting.
I was referred there on a recommendation from Dia D. (*thanks SO much Dia!!*) on Nextdoor when I posted looking for restaurant/space recommendations close to 30th Street Station.
I think previous reviews have grossly underrated them.
NOTE: We noticed several ways this would be a great place for a private party and we will both be back!!

We had a sisters reunion lunch here today. The food was good, the atmosphere was great, the coffee was delicious, and Beth was the best ever! Would highly recommend Garces Trading.

The only place near Philadelphia’s 30th St. Station to get a drink. Across the street in the Cera building but accessible via an indoor corridor and escalator.
Didn’t get any food but the menu looks good.
Seems like the hours vary, so check if they’re open before heading over.

Garces is a restaurant that's in the building that I work in, its a fairly new restaurant to the building. This is the only place to eat due to a redevelopment project in the area. Needless to say that I'm always reluctant to go to Garces due to the ever changing prices and menu updates changing so often. I agree its my fault for going back after so many horrible experiences but again its literally nowhere else to eat for lunch in the area. the pics that I'm posting are of Shrimp tempura and a salad on the side. The shrimp were discussing as always but they one of the only seafood options on the menu aside from the extra expensive salmon. The shrimp are full of grease as shown in attached pics. Its enough grease to pour back into a pot to fry more shrimp. One last thing its a cook that's always making faces at me, frowning at me like I'm a pain in his a$$, I don't know the guy and I never have to deal with him. This cook makes it uncomfortably to come to restaurant, I used to bring coworkers down to have lunch, now I get my order and get out of there.
