The only Thai place I will order from in the entire Philadelphia vicinity. The best staff. The best food. The best experience. I will forever give JJ Thai my business and always recommend them to friends & family. By the way, if your server is Air, be prepared because she is the absolute best server I have came across in any restaurant. I worked in the service industry myself, and to come across someone like Air is truly a blessing. She is so friendly, goes above and beyond, and always ensures the best customer service. Thank you JJ Thai and thank you Air for continuous unforgettable experiences.

During our trip to Philadelphia we had lunch at this wonderful restaurant. The spring rolls, red curry and massaman curry were all delicious. And the prices are very friendly. Definitely

Food was excellent - tried the spring rolls and the Pad See Ew and they were delicious. Service was excellent, constantly refilling my water. Love the intimate environment.

I had the tamarind duck from here and personally the sauce was a little too sweet for me, even though I asked for it to be extra spicy. The duck itself was delicious, very crispy and tender. No bones either, which was great. The other folks at my table loved their food (curries and pad Thai) The mango sticky rice was solid. I wish the mangos were riper and a tad more sauce. Really good Thai iced coffee. One thing to note was the service. They were very attentive on refilling glasses of water and they even took my jacket for me. Love the staff

This many 5 star reviews can't be wrong! JJ is so good. Thin and not-too-greasy drunken noodles, tender beef in the mamassan curry, and, the star of the show: the absolutely unmissable duck salad. I can see myself ordering this duck salad...every day? Kidding! But it is really that good. Fruit and fried duck are wrapped up in a wonton style dough bowl. What's not to love? We ordered takeout but food was ready super promptly and they were turning folks away for dine in since it was so busy. This will likely by a takeout or delivery option moving forward - the location is convenient and online ordering couldn't be easier. I look forward to many more duck salads in my future and highly recommend your next Thai craving get conquered by JJ.

Yummy food and good portions! Came here with two friends on a weekday dinner and we were seated pretty quickly (although they can get busy so sometimes there is a wait). I ordered the Red Curry (made vegan without fish sauce etc.) and we share an order of spring rolls. Both dishes were tasty - the curry was hot, savory, with plentiful tofu and veggies. The spring rolls were classic and satisfying. Service was good, and I asked for hot water with my meal which was promptly provided and refilled as often as needed. Would come here again for fulfilling a Thai food craving!

Do not recommend the restaurant staff was not accommodating to any changes on the menu. Wanted to use sesame oil or coconut oil for a more healthy choice although they had it, they were dishonest about checking with the kitchen. I don’t feel like this place has any integrity regarding the ingredients that they use seems low quality and dishonest.

It’s a bit packed space and we sat in middle seat so I was constantly conscious while eating that someone passing by won’t hit my arm or elbow. It’s been a while I been there. I remembered it to be more proposition in food. The taste was still good it just in curry there was no vegetables at all. But overall still a good place but on the pricey side though.

JJ Thai is a 100% homer. Every time the food is incredible the staff are so friendly helpful and appreciative. The food is always so fresh and beautifully plated. Incredible ingredients and above all an incredible flavor profile come on down from the suburbs to enjoy a great meal of JJ as often as we can.

Decent place for thai food, but not bursting with flavour (what i'm looking for when it comes to thai food). I asked for the red curry to be made extra spicy but it was still pretty standard. The outdoor seating is pretty nice however so can be a cute first date spot, but there are far superior thai places in philly that are much more cost efficient.
