We just moved but I'm originally from Jersey and came to Philly often. I e had Jim's, Pat's and Geno's and several others but wanted something closer to home in Fishtown. this place is great. The cheesesteak was perfect and the mushroom had a nice marinated taste. The fries were good and the cheese just was great on them. The staff was fast and really nice. I think we found our local cheesesteak place!

Food is consistently good, service is friendly, and I'm a big fan of the retro-diner-y interior. Can't say their cheesesteak is the best in Philly but I do think the quality/prices/ambiance is enough to satisfy any hungry Philadelphian and impress the out-of-towners. Love the mix of vegan options and milkshakes too!

We had a very disturbing experience here this evening…my husband and I have been living in fishtown for years and have frequently visited this spot for cheesesteaks and have always liked coming here and bringing our friends and family. We recently became first time parents and brought our 4 month old here with a couple of friends of ours that also had two children. We arrived and saw it how packed it was and probably wasn’t a good idea to have our stroller so in the process of trying to figure out if we should go elsewhere or get rid of the extra stuff the staff got very nasty with us saying we had to go outside. We told them it was cold and we have a baby so to just give us a minute to decide what we wanted to do and tried to stand in the back out of the way to QUICKLY discuss our next move but instead one of the employees which I’m assuming may be a manager came over and said no we had to leave right then and there. Never in my many years of living in Fishtown did I think I would encounter service like that, especially with small children with us. I am beyond disgusted with how we were treated and kicked out and will no longer return. I run a business myself and never in a million years would treat a customer that way.

Has the cheesesteak, a chicken cheesesteak and some cheese fries, bread was really good, the steak was tender and flavorful and the chicken with the buffalo sauce was delicious, service was quick and very attentive,We also had a strawberry soda, which was also very good refreshing and with not as much co2 as a normal soda which was great for us, overall I’ll definitely recommend this place.
