Came to Fette Sau on 8/3 for the first time. The manager was extremely hospitable and once we told him it was our first time he made suggestions that would give us the best food experience. Service was quick, staff was so friendly and food was absolutely delicious. It started raining when we went to leave, and the manager went to get a lost and found box of umbrellas that hadn’t been claimed in some time, and gave us one so we wouldn’t get wet walking to our car. Let me begin by saying thank you! The brisket is absolutely delicious, as are pork ribs. I am really spoiled when it comes to BBQ and smoked meats. I’ve had brisket all over the country and am drawn to Texas BBQ. I’ve had good BBQ in Kansas City as well. Sadly not much comes close to it in NYC, where I live.
