Zoom in on life

The soft tofu stew here is AMAZING.
Honestly feels like a soft tofu specialty spot. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
It comes with stone pot rice, and you even get crispy rice at the end.
I had oyster soft tofu stew AND The seasoning isn’t too heavy, super clean and comforting flavors.✨
Plz If you like sundubu, this place is a must-try

My first time trying this restaurant. For the most part, the food was pretty good, the service was decent, and the restaurant is nicely decorated.

Overall Ratings
Atmosphere - 4/5
Service - 3/5
Food - 4/5
Parking - Private Parking Lot

Atmosphere -
The restaurant gives off a vibe of a place that used to be a go to spot but has since been outpaced by other Korean restaurants in the area. While it is very nicely decorated, when we first walked in it felt a bit quiet and not as lively or vibrant as some of the other Korean spots nearby.

Service -
The staff is friendly and the service is sufficient.

What We Ordered -
Mung Bean Pancake - which was pretty good
Galbi BBQ Beef Ribs - which were not as good as some competitors in the area, for example the beef ribs from Dubu have much better flavor
Seafood Tofu Stew - which was very good

Final Thoughts -
In terms of food, my favorite dish by far was the tofu stew, which I was told is what they are known for. Everything else ranged from okay to good. I would come back to try other items, but personally I feel there are stronger options in the same area.

The most hidden Korean stone bowl restaurant in PA. Down to earth owners and servers that greet you with a smile every time. Best quality and perfect seasoning

Great piping hot Soon Dubu with clay pot rice. Large tables / booths so good for group with or without kids. Chill atmosphere so the “service please” table button can be jarring

The best Korean restaurant in Philly. I love their dumplings and spicy chicken wings. Prices are reasonable.

The best soft tofu soup in the Philadelphia area. I always order the seafood tofu soup medium spicy. Their banchan is the best I've ever had! Really tasty and fresh! Their rice is cooked in a stone pot, which is very rare in other Korean restaurants. I always feel very satisfied after eating it! Highly recommended!

This is my favorite restaurant in the city. When I walk in I feel like I've been transported to a different place entirely. An escape for a delicious meal. The sundubu is amazing and fairly priced. Care is taken to do things well. I just can't say enough good things.

Jong ka job has been a Philly Korean food icon for over 30 years. I had my first date with my wife here and their food is still the consistent great taste and quality. I know that there are other fancy places for soon dubu but this place still has it. There ban Chan is still the same after all these years. The spicy cucumbers, the pickled radish, the marinated bean sprouts and their seaweed salad is still the best. Super clean and relaxed atmosphere

The food is truly authentic KoreanCuisine, its very excellent tasting, authentic not overwhelming, hot food and stone bowls come out very hot, the way it does in Korea!
The Kimchi is soo tasteful and all the food I have tried has been very flavorful and fresh, the service is excellent, the facility is very clean and welcoming, it has a nice comfortable atmosphere and you are sitting waiting for someone to take your order.
Your food comes out promptly.
If you really love authentic Korean food, give this place a try l promise you will not be disappointed .

The entrance is on the side in the parking if you are parking in the lot or on the front!
