This place is not Kingston anymore. I thought it was a bakery, but I found that it is not. I still patronized the black owned businesses ( glad to see a woman as well). The food was very good, I sampled the egg rolls. Just one thing, one egg roll is still one egg roll even when you cut it in half.

Literally ordered food from here and they never sent anyone out for drive and took my money
This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Philadelphia. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! Cooks are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in philly please eat here and your food is always hot!

I been to alot of Jamaican Restaurants in the Philadelphia Area and Honestly came to the conclusion. Kingston City Rest is still unmatched. Other Restaurants give you days old food and laugh behind your back. This place actually cares what goes in your stomach and make sure you leave with a smile on your face and Great food on your plate.I have not been Bribed, Sponsored, or Coerced to make this review....Just another Good Human That loves Great Authentic Jamaican Food and pays Respect Where its do. Don't miss out.

Curry goat best in the city
Fried snapper was amazing
Idk if it’s new owners or something but this is the most bland and corny Jamaican food I ever had no seasoning or nothing
I was really hungry so I didn’t have a choice but to eat it.. I look at the reviews of others but said let mi try it myself and decide.. I have been eating Jamaican food but this one here was very dry.. the Cabbage have taste… the food was pretty much dry ..

They never answer and you have to wait an hour for food. Also if you don't like large orders, then don't have them as an option(everytime I have a larger order). Your food is good but not that good to deal with your nonsense. I just called to confirm, that you had food, for you to turn around and cancel my order.
